The barracks is where you recruit your foot infantry for both defence and offence. Recruiting units is essential to doing well in tribal wars. Why not read one of our guides for more information!

Why can't I demolish buildings? - This menu is only active when you have a level 15 or higher HQ. If the village loyalty is below 100% you also cannot downgrade buildings!
What is the lowest level of HQ - A village HQ level can only be reduced below level 15 by catapult. It cannot be reduced beyond level 1.
Why are some already constructed buildings not working! - If your HQ is catapulted (or downgraded) below the level required for your other buildings they could cease to function : for example if you reduce the HQ below level 20, your Academy will no longer function.
