The church helps the religious villagers in the surrounding villages. Without a church the troops of the villages in its area of influence will fight with a 50% reduced efficiency both in defense and offense capabilities
- A church can be upgraded up to level 3, the higher the level, the larger the radius of influence.
- Players do not have to build a church in every village, since one smartly placed church covers enough area to boost the belief of all of the villages in its range

How do I remove the first church? - In order to remove the first church the easiest way to do so is to self noble the village it exists in. This will then enable you to build the first church in another village. Please note that you will be unable to build a normal church until the first church is built somewhere.
